Jason Wayne Morton, 42, of Genoa Road, Dudley died Tuesday at his residence.

Jason Wayne Morton, a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend, passed away on April 15, 2025. Born on December 28, 1982, in Langley, Virginia, Jason was the cherished son of Robert Wayne and Kathy Ann Morton.

Jason was known for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand. He was a great friend, a helpful presence, and a trusted advisor to those who knew him. Jason was always ready to give and share, embodying a spirit of genuine kindness.

A true enthusiast of mechanics, Jason found joy in working on cars alongside his father. He had a deep love for Rock and Roll music, which he couldn't get enough of. Jason's heart was open, and if he liked you, you were considered a friend for life.

Jason enjoyed traveling and had visited various places, including California, Columbus, Ohio, and West Virginia.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Kristen Morton; his devoted parents, Robert and Kathy Morton; his four sons, Tyler, Zach, Noah, Jayden; and a host of other relatives and friends who will deeply miss his presence.

Jason's legacy of friendship, helpfulness, and his passion for life will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Memorial services will be held Thursday at 11 AM in the Rev. Ernie Haskins Chapel of Haskins Memorial Services.
