Evangelist Sandra Faye Evonne Sauls Smith, affectionately known as “Baby Sister,” age 76, of Pikeville, NC, transitioned from labor to reward on February 10, 2026, while surrounded by the love of her family.

Her life was a beautiful testimony of faith, service, and unconditional love, leaving an enduring legacy in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held on March 1, 2026, with a viewing from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at: St. James Church of Christ, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC 27830

For those who wish to express their love through floral tributes, arrangements may be delivered to: Haskins Memorial Services, 601 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530. Flowers will be accepted on Friday, February 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 28 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.

The family continues to stand on God’s promise in 2 Timothy 4:7 — “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
